ARN BRODSKI (AHARON BRODSKY)

ARN BRODSKI (AHARON BRODSKY) (August 10, 1878-August 28, 1925)
He was born in Dubosar (Dubossary), Ukraine.  In 1904 he emigrated to Argentina, where he worked making belts in Buenos Aires.  His first publications, stories and poems, appeared in 1908.  He published in: Avangard (Avant-garde), Yidishe tsaytung (Jewish newspaper), and Af di bregn fun la plata (On the shores of La Plata), among others.  In Yidishe tsaytung, he published a novel entitled In shotn fun libe (In the shadow of love).  Among his books: Geklibene shriftn (Selected writings), published by a committee in Buenos Aires (1926), 224 pp.
