SH. BROKHES
He was a Soviet Jewish writer who wrote on pedagogical matters.  He authored the textbooks: Naturvisnshaft (Natural science) (Minsk: State Publishers, 1927), 226 pp., with D. Shapiro; Fizik (Physics) (Moscow, 1929), part two (Moscow, 1930), 253 pp.; Khemye loytn laboratorishn metod (Chemistry according to the laboratory method) (Moscow, 1931), 304 pp.
