RIFOEL SHADOVSKI

RIFOEL SHADOVSKI (b. 1897)

            He was born in Vilna and graduated from Cohen’s high school there in 1915.  In 1925 he completed his degree in medicine from the University of Vilna.  He wrote for Folks-gezunt (Publish health) in Vilna and Sotsyale meditsin (Social medicine) in Warsaw.  In book form: Algebra far onfanger, teoretisher kurs mit oyfgabn (Algebra for beginners, theoretical course with exercises) (Vilna: Hirsh Mets, 1923), 121 pp.
