MORRIS KLEYN (b. April 22, 1890)
He was a
goldsmith, born in Baku (Bacău), Romania. He came to the United States in 1912. He lived in New York until 1917 and
thereafter in Baltimore. He performed in
theater from time to time. He wrote
stories and feuilletons for various Americans newspapers and journals. In book form: Shabes nokhn kugl, freylekhe minyaturn (Sabbath after the kugel,
merry miniatures) (New York: Yidishe humor, 1947), 231 pp.
