ALTER KLEYMAN
He left
Poland in 1926 and set off for Belgium.
He survived the holocaust there and wrote about this in his book Af fremder erd (On alien soil) (Tel
Aviv, 1970), 224 pp. At some point, he
later made aliya to the state of Israel.
