VOLF
SAYMON (SIMON WOLF) (b. September 12, 1890)
He was born in Borislav (Boryslaw),
Galicia. He was raised in Lemberg. He later left for the United States. He performed in Yiddish theater and wrote
plays as well, such as: Lebns-kontraktn
(Life contracts), Di tseshterte khupe
(The demolished wedding canopy), Got fun
gerekhtikeyt (God of justice), Der
eyntsiger veg (The one and only path), and Hertser tsu farkoyfn (Hearts for sale).
