STRILOVSKI (d. 1944)
He was the night editor and
proofreader for Vilna’s Tog
(Day). In 1940 he was a contributor to Byalistoker shtern (Bialystok star), and
before the Nazis occupied Bialystok, he was evacuated to Soviet Russia. He was mobilized into the Red Army in 1943,
and he fell in a battle against the Germans in 1944. His wife Khane Rudenski and their three
children were murdered by the Nazis in Ilye (Ilya), near Vilna.
