SHLOYME (SHELOMOH) ASHKENAZI

SHLOYME (SHELOMOH) ASHKENAZI
He came from Parisov, Poland.  He was the author Di rekht fun der froy als vayb un mentsh (The rights of a woman as wife and person) (Warsaw: Yidish-bukh, 1930), 235 pp.  In Yidishe filologye (Yiddish philology), vol. 1 (1924), he wrote about the folklore of Parisov.  In his book (p. 86), he mentions another work of his, Di ksube (The marriage contract).  In August 1929, he was in Warsaw, perhaps living there.  His subsequent career remains unknown.
