TSVI M. ORLINSKI (HARRY ORLINSKY) (March 14, 1908-1992)
Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from the University of Toronto
and Dropsie College in Philadelphia.
From 1931 he was living in the United States. He was a professor of Bible criticism and
archeology. He was the author of works
concerning Jewish archeology and history in Hebrew and English. In Yiddish: “Goles bavel in shayn fun
arkheologye” (The dispersion in Babylonia in light of archeology), Yivo-bleter
25 (1945); and “Tanakh un arkheologye” (Bible and archeology), Yivo-bleter
(1950), pp. 21-48.
