SH. ZAKHARYASH (SZYMON ZACHARIASZ)

SH. ZAKHARYASH (SZYMON ZACHARIASZ) (January 16, 1900-January 30, 1970)
            He was born in Ostrów Mazowieski, Poland and lived in Warsaw.  He was the author of: Yoysef levartovski, der kemfer un revolutsyoner, organizator fun antifashistishn kamf in varsheṿer geto (Yoysef Levartovski, the fighter and revolutionary, organizer of the anti-fascist struggle in the Warsaw Ghetto) (Warsaw: Yidish bukh, 1953), 53 pp.; Di komunistishe bavegung tsvishn der yidisher arbetndiker bafelkerung in poyln (The Communist movement among the Jewish working population in Poland) (Warsaw: Yidish bukh, 1954), 187 pp.; Mentshn fun k. p. p.: dovid rikhter, moyshe grinbaum, shmuel meretik (Men of the K. P. P. [Komunistyczna Partia Polski]: Dovid Rikhter, Moyshe Grinbaum, Shmuel Meretik) (Warsaw: Yidish bukh, 1964), 114 pp.  He died in Warsaw.
