BOREKH (BORUKH) BLUM (January 11, 1888-1965)
He was born in Husiatyn, Ukraine, and raised in Kamenets Podolsk where his parents settled. He attended religious elementary school and studied secular subjects with a private teacher. In 1910 he emigrated to the United States. In 1934 he published his first piece, a story, in Frayhayt (Freedom); in 1954 he placed four stories in Forverts (Forward). He was living in New York.
