ARN SHUSTER

ARN SHUSTER (b. April 22, 1899)

            He was born in Lipkan (Lipcani), Bessarabia, into a poor family.  He was a wig maker by profession.  He moved to Canada in 1921.  In 1942 he published memoirs in Tog (Day) in New York, later in Keneder odler (Canadian eagle) in Montreal.  In book form: Lipkan fun amol (Lipcani of the past) (Montreal, 1957), 217 pp.
