He lived in the latter half of the nineteenth century. He was the author of: A gute eytse vi tsu leben un gezunt zayn (A good piece of advice on how to live and be healthy), “everyone who reads this book will…know how to protect their dear health…. How is the body nourished? The flow of the blood? The breath? How does one protect against the blight of illness?” (Odessa, 1880s).
