HENEKH
GELLER (1869-March 25, 1926)
He was born in Kovel, Volhynia, into
a well-to-do, Enlightened family. He
studied in religious elementary school, synagogue study hall, and later secular
subject matter and languages as well. He
became a community and Zionist activist.
He began publishing articles on Zionism in Hebrew, in Hatsfira (The siren) in Warsaw. He also contributed to Voliner vokh (Volhynia week) in Rovno-Lutsk. He also placed pieces in Haynt (Today) and Voliner
lebn (Volhynia life), among others.
He died in Kovel.
