TREYMAN
He came from the Kiev region in
Ukraine. He lived in Kiev, Vilna, and
Warsaw. He was popular as a
fortuneteller in palmistry. He authored Der gerimter trefer (The illustrious
fortuneteller) (Warsaw, 1878), 70 pp., in which he taught how to “give the
correct answers to 100 questions that arise very frequently in every person’s
life.” This booklet was published in
several editions, the last in Warsaw in 1914.
